Risk Disclosure

Version 0.1.0-draft · Last updated

Read this before you buy. It explains what f8 Capital is, what it is not, and what you can and cannot expect from it.

1. Everything here is simulated

Every price, order, position, balance and profit figure in this platform is produced by our own simulation engine. No order you place reaches any market, exchange, broker or liquidity provider. No real money is bought, sold, borrowed, lent, deposited or invested for you at any point.

That has three consequences worth stating plainly:

  • You cannot lose more than the fee you paid. There is no margin call against your own money, no debt and no negative balance to settle.
  • You also cannot gain a trading profit. A "profit" on a simulated account is a score. What you can earn is a performance fee from us, under the rules, if you meet the conditions.
  • A result here is not a track record in a live market. Slippage, partial fills, liquidity gaps, funding, borrow costs, counterparty risk and your own behaviour with real money at stake are different or absent.

2. The fee is a service fee, not a deposit

You pay to attempt an evaluation. That fee buys the evaluation. It is not a deposit, it is not held for you, it does not accrue interest, it is not segregated on your behalf, and it is not returned because an account was lost. The Refund Policy sets out the narrow cases where a fee is refundable, and describes the separate fee refund that some programs pay through the reward schedule.

3. Most people do not pass

Prop evaluations are designed so that a minority of attempts reach a funded stage, and a minority of funded accounts reach a reward. Do not buy a challenge with money you need. Do not buy repeated resets expecting a different outcome from the same method.

We publish every threshold that decides a pass or a failure. We do not publish a pass rate, because one would be a marketing number rather than a measurement you could rely on.

4. You can lose the account quickly

A breach is immediate and final for that account. It is checked continuously against your equity, which includes:

  • the realised balance,
  • floating profit and loss on open positions at the closing side of the spread,
  • the estimated round-turn commission on open positions, and
  • accrued swap on open positions.

Because floating losses count, an account can breach while a position is still open, including outside your trading hours, on a gap at the session open, or during a news release. The platform shows the exact dollar room remaining before each floor, on every account card and in the terminal, and it warns you at 50% and 80% of a limit. Those warnings are a courtesy; the floor applies whether or not you saw one.

5. Nothing here is advice

Market data, charts, calculators, rule explanations, educational resources, notifications and support replies are information about how this platform works. None of it is investment advice, a recommendation, a solicitation or a personal recommendation to enter any transaction, and none of it takes your circumstances into account.

6. Simulated market data

Prices in the simulation are produced by the market-data source configured for this deployment. In development and demonstration environments that source is synthetic — it is a deterministic, session-aware model, not a recording of any real venue. Even with a licensed feed, spreads, execution and session behaviour are our simulation's, not a broker's.

Draft.

Before paying users are onboarded, this section must state the licensed data vendor in use, and the launch checklist blocks on that (ROADMAP D-04).

7. Rewards depend on rules, not on goodwill

A reward is calculated from the published formula: the cycle's profit, minus the itemised deductions the behavioural rules produce, multiplied by your split, rounded down. Every step is shown before you claim. Conditions such as the cycle's eligibility date, a flat account, completed identity verification, a minimum growth and a minimum reward amount must all be met.

If a condition is not met, the reward is not payable. That is a rule, not a discretionary decision.

8. Taxes and your own position

Whether a reward is taxable, and how you must declare it, depends on where you live. We do not give tax advice. You are responsible for your own tax position and for complying with the law in your jurisdiction, including any restriction on this kind of service where you live — see Restricted Countries.

9. Questions

If any part of this disclosure is unclear, ask before you buy: support@f8ware.com.

Simulated trading only. No real funds are traded, held, or invested. Fees purchase an evaluation service; rewards are performance fees paid by the company.
